We are delighted to announce Improvers coaching at Summit Up! Level up your climbing by learning the skills and techniques you need to become the best climber you can be!
These sessions are for climbers and boulderers who are keen to improve their climbing. This is suitable for those who boulder grade v2 – 4 and/or climb grade 5 – 6+.
Each session is themed to a different learning technique.
**Please note that you do not have to sign up for all sessions. You can pick and choose which ones you would like to attend.
The themes for the first 6 weeks are
Week 1: Base of support and footwork
Week 2: Rock overs and Flagging
Week 3: Front on v twists. Points of suspension
Week 4: Hold types and direction of force. Static v dynamic movement
Week 5: Route reading and resting on the route
Week 6: Achieving goals and structuring an effective session.
The cost is £15 per person per week and this INCLUDES your admission cost.If you are on a direct debit scheme with Summit Up, you will pay only £6 ‘bolt on’ price.

We are running an Interschools climbing competition on Monday 5th February. From 1st - 7th February there will be some disruption on the climbing walls, however this will mainly be during the daytime, with minimal impact during the evening.
We are excited to announce our new Adult Social evening is starting on Tuesday 30th January. This will take place every Tuesday Evening from 6pm -9pm. An instructor will be on hand to buddy you up with fellow climbers, give you climbing tips and help you make the most out of your session. It's a great way to meet fellow climbers and be part of the climbing community at Summit Up! Competent climbers only. The session is free, just pay your usual admission cost.
