We are SCT Climbing Limited (company number: 11082832) of Sterling House, 501 Middleton Road, Chadderton, Oldham, OL9 9LY (“SCT Climbing”, “we”, “our” and “us”) and we are the company that collects your personal data and controls how it will be used (the “data controller”).
We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting the personal data you share with us and that we collect about you. This policy tells you about how we use the personal data we collect about you when you use our website. It also provides more information about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
Our policy applies to all visitors to our website and our customers. As you may be aware, SCT Climbing offers two different climbing experiences as follows:-
For your information, we run the SummitUp elements internally ourselves but we are a Clip ‘n Climb partner which means that we operate this side of our business through rights granted by Entre-prises (UK) limited (company number: 03010771) of Eden Works, Colne Road, Barnoldswick, Lancashire, BB18 6SH (“Entreprises”). This means that we owe certain obligations to Entreprises including but not limited to sharing some of the personal data of our Clip ‘n Climb customers with them. Please be aware that if you are a Clip ‘n Climb customer of ours, the personal data we collect about you will be handled by us in accordance with this privacy policy, and your personal data that we share with Entreprises to fulfil our contractual obligations with them will be handled by Entreprises in accordance with their privacy policy. On this basis, we have split our privacy policy into two parts so please refer to those part of the sections which are relevant to you depending on what you are going to book. Please note that if you have or intend to use both facilities, all parts will apply to you.

Children under the age of 16 should not use our website and/or make any bookings on our website. Please note that we may require you to verify your age when you register for an account with us and/or make a booking.
Please note that this section is not applicable to Entreprises as they aren’t a service provider of ours but rather, we are a partner of theirs and consequently, we have certain obligations to them to share Clip ‘n Climb customer personal data with them fin accordance with this policy.
We do not sell your personal data to any third parties. We may share your personal data with our carefully selected third party service providers who help us provide our services to you, including:

We will treat your payment information in line with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirements which are recognised worldwide.
Where you register to receive our latest news, products and offers, we will keep your contact details (generally your email address and/or phone number) for such time as you wish to continue to receive such updates from us. We monitor how you engage with our marketing communications. Alternatively you can “opt out” to stop receiving marketing emails within 24 hours. Please note that we may need to retain your personal data for other purposes, e.g. operating your account or dealing with any enquiry you have made.
