Getting here and parking

Parking

Please note that part of our usual car park, Bradshaw Street, is temporarily being used by Oldham Council. If you struggle to find space at Bradshaw Street, the next nearest car park is Tommyfield Market (OL1 3BZ), which is about a 5-minute walk from Summit Up.

Please allow a little extra time to park and make your way to the centre.

Tram Stop

The closest Tram stop to Summit Up Climbing is Oldham Central (Zone 3), which is an 8 min walk. This is on the Pink Tram Line towards Shaw and Crompton or Rochdale town Centre. This route does include stairs, which can be avoided by alternatively walking around the Oldham Parish Church (+2 min).

Bus Station

In the heart of Oldham, Summit Up Climbing Centre is easily accessible by bus. Our closest bus station is Oldham Bus Station: which provides services around Greater Manchester. Oldham Bus Station is a 7-minute walk from Summit Up Climbing centre, and the walking route is entirely step-free accessible.

Bike

Outside of the centre, to the left of the main entrance, we have covered bike racks which are free for guests to use. Please bring your own bike lock to make use of these!
