Book Clip 'N Climb

SEN Groups

Climbing is for everyone! At Summit Up we have a range of inclusive climbing suitable for all disabled and neurodivergent adults and children.

Benefits of Climbing

Climbing offers many benefits for disabled and neurodivergent people. The benefits of climbing go far beyond just physical health; they include opportunities to socialise, build confidence, develop body awareness, and foster trust. Plus, there's the thrilling chance to experience an adrenaline rush!

SEN

Summit Up prides ourself on inclusivity and the accessibility of our centre. Whether a child has a physical, cognitive, communication or sensory disability, there is a degree of participation that can be achieved.

"The trips have been a huge success, with our students demonstrating incredible climbing skills in a public setting. They have been able to share the centre with members of the public, access a new and unfamiliar environment and work with new members of staff from the climbing centre." - Sarah Holland MUFC Foundation with students from Seashell Trust.

ACTIVITIES

We can tailor make an activity program to best suit the needs of your group. A friendly member of staff will contact you following your enquiry or booking to discuss what additional needs your group has and how we can accommodate.

VOLUNTEERS

At Summit Up our regular climbers have volunteered their time to work alongside our experienced staff on our disabled and neurodivergent climbing sessions. All volunteers have had disability training and DBS checks.
