At Summit Up we pride ourselves on delivering a first class experience for all our visitors, regardless of age or ability.
Below are some of the facilities the centre offers.
With 50 roped lines and a great bouldering section we have climbing well covered. Add to that a huge selection of climbing holds, walls catering for all abilities and regular route setting and we have a pretty great offering.
ValoClimb, the world's first interactive climbing experience, is where gaming meets climbing. With a variety of challenges to choose from see if you can beat your friends and make it on to the high score tables.
Our South Ridge Cafe provides a great selection of food and drinks to cater for any appetite. With views of the activity areas you are also never too far from the action.
The North's largest Clip 'n Climb arena features 35 thrilling challenges including the 'Stairway to Heaven', 'Leap of Faith' and 10 metre 'Vertical Drop Slide'. Clip 'n Climb sessions are suitable for anyone aged from 4 to adult and we even have regular Climb 'n Rhyme sessions where the 2-3 year olds can join in the excitement!
Three levels of soft play fun next to the cafe means children can have a great time while the adults enjoy a well deserved break.
For those wanting to freshen up after a session we have changing rooms, complete with male, female and accessible showers. Baby changing facilities are also available.
We have three good sized party rooms meaning anyone having a catered party or group session with us can have a dedicated space to enjoy their food. As the rooms are connected we can even open them up to provide a huge space for larger groups.
The centre has a lift connecting all three floors as well as accessible WC and a shower, enabling wheelchair users to use the facilities.
Not only can we supply variable sized function rooms but also a high definition projector and screen, WIFI and refreshments. With so many exciting activities to choose from and an excellent space to use after, team building sounds like a lot of fun!
Whether you are looking for a memento of your visit or you are wanting to buy your first harness, our shop and knowledgeable staff are here to help.
Ample lockers are provided throughout the centre for customer use. Those booked on an instructed session get free use of a small locker whilst visiting the centre and anyone using the centre independently can either bring their own padlock or borrow one of ours for a returnable deposit.
For those wanting to visit us by leg power we have covered bike racks outside the front of the centre. Just be sure to bring a lock so that your bike is secure whilst visiting us.
