Are you looking to become a Climbing Wall Instructor?
We are running a course with provider Ian Fenton on the 20th and 21st of April.
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on purpose built artificial climbing walls and boulders. (The scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing).
The course will have both days commencing and finishing at the Summit Up. You will use all of the resources we have here including bouldering, bottom roping/leading, huge clip and climb, speed wall and ValoClimb. You will also use an additional wall in the adjacent Mahdlo Youthzone, this minimises travel time, cost and impact over the two days.
The wall entry fees are included in the course costs.
2 day course starting 20th April 2022 at 9am and finished 21st April 2022 at 4.30pm.
