The National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS) is a UK wide scheme and is a great starting point for young climbers over the age of 7 years, wishing to take up climbing and mountaineering.
NICAS schemes can allow students to show progression and commitment over time and can be used towards Duke of Edinburgh and GCSE qualifications.
Summit Up will be offering Level 1 and 2 NICAS on Tuesdays 6pm – 8pm and Saturday 10am – 12noon, and Level 3+ NICAS Thursday 6pm – 8pm and Sunday 10am – 12noon. (Term time only)
Before joining a NICAS course all climbers will need to complete a Taster session for £15pp. You can book this by emailing [email protected]
